Belgrade in 1963. In a yard surrounded by buildings, a group of young people of different backgrounds and social status, but of similar views about love and self-affirmation, spend their time together. Their friendship is dyed with various events typical for socialism, such as working actions or Youth Day's parade. All what happens within this yard may become an allegory of one generation's destiny.

AI Analysis
Miroslav Lekić’s film serves as a sophisticated social allegory, using a Belgrade yard to examine the intersection of personal identity and state-mandated socialism. It succeeds by centering the agency of a diverse group of young people against the backdrop of rigid institutional rituals. The work excels in its cultural critique, using historical events like Youth Day parades to explore the tension between the collective and the individual. By focusing on a microcosm of different backgrounds, it provides a nuanced look at a generation's destiny. However, the film lacks explicit representation regarding LGBTQ+ identities and disability. While it hints at thematic openness regarding self-affirmation, it does not provide clear, visible evidence of these specific identities.
