New Showbiz helps you find films that align with your values around representation, so you can choose what to watch with clearer information.
What we do
We score films across five categories: LGBTQ+, gender, racial and ethnic, religious and cultural, and disability. Each category is scored from 0 to 10, and those scores roll up into an overall score. Scores look at how people are portrayed, not just whether they appear on screen.
How scoring works
AI drafts each analysis against our criteria. Results are reviewed before they go live. Every score includes written notes. The notes are the product; the number is the summary. Full details are on our methodology page.
