AI Analysis

The film functions as a character-driven study of interpersonal ethics rather than a showcase for demographic breadth. It relies heavily on the demographic norms of 1980s French cinema, resulting in a lack of racial and LGBTQ+ variety. However, the work succeeds in subverting traditional romantic tropes. Instead of idealized love, it provides a clinical, voyeuristic examination of infidelity and moral relativity. Ultimately, the film's strength lies in its psychological depth and its departure from institutional morality, even if it lacks intersectional complexity.
