AI Analysis

After the Rain is a character-driven drama that focuses on the tension between individual agency and patriarchal authority. The film finds its strength in the protagonist's resilience as she navigates the fallout of her father's rejection. However, the film lacks demographic breadth and intersectional complexity. The narrative remains centered on a traditional romantic structure, leaving little room for diverse identities or varied cultural perspectives. Ultimately, while the film offers a moderate subversion of domestic hierarchies, it lacks the representation required for a more progressive rating.
