Crime in Formula One (1984) is a traditional genre piece that adheres to the mainstream cinematic norms of its era. The story relies on established comedic clichés and conventional social hierarchies rather than progressive narrative deconstruction. The film focuses on a male protagonist navigating crime and family protection. This structure prioritizes traditional archetypes, leaving little room for diverse representation or the disruption of standard social expectations. Ultimately, the work functions as a lighthearted caper that reinforces existing institutional and familial structures common in 1980s Italian comedy.
