Hotel de verano is a conventional mid-century musical comedy that adheres to the established cinematic language of the 1940s. It prioritizes traditional narrative archetypes and commercial interests over challenging societal norms. The film reinforces existing social hierarchies, particularly patriarchal authority and traditional gender roles. While it includes a cross-cultural element through its cast, it does not critique the social or gender norms of its time. Ultimately, the work emphasizes domestic decorum and romantic resolution rather than diverse or disruptive perspectives.
