A Good Woman is a character-driven drama that finds its strength in the subversion of traditional domestic hierarchies. By centering on a woman's refusal to accept a predetermined social contract, the film highlights themes of individual ability to act and romantic autonomy. While the film offers a profound critique of restrictive social customs and patriarchal arrangements, it lacks LGBTQ+ identities or disability representation. Its narrative remains focused on a specific cultural context. Ultimately, the film succeeds as a study of personal liberation against the weight of communal expectations, even if its scope remains narrow in terms of diverse identity representation.
