New Showbiz Analysis

Death Haunts Monica functions as a conventional genre thriller, emphasizing mystery and corporate intrigue over social commentary. The narrative is driven by domestic infidelity and a conspiracy involving Monica's friend Elena and the mistress Eva. While women are central to the plot's mechanics, their actions reinforce existing power structures rather than challenging them. The film lacks depth in exploring diverse identities and avoids broader systemic critiques, focusing instead on a character-driven study of greed and betrayal within a traditional framework.
