Certified: No Mines offers a significant departure from Western-centric war cinema by centering the liberation of Belgrade through the lens of Tito's partisans and the Red Army. This perspective shifts the focus away from traditional Anglo-Saxon hero clichés toward a multi-ethnic, Balkan-centric resistance narrative. The film's strength lies in its cultural and racial framing, which prioritizes collective struggle and the dismantling of fascist hierarchies. However, the film appears to adhere to traditional partisan genre archetypes, which may limit the depth of social representation. There is no visible evidence of LGBTQ+ identities or specific disability representation within the tactical mission framework.
