New Showbiz Analysis

Against Their Will is a character-driven drama that challenges traditional power dynamics. It effectively subverts the cliché of women as passive victims by making them the primary drivers of justice. However, the film lacks significant representation of LGBTQ+ identities and disability. Additionally, the racial diversity lacks the depth needed to elevate its score. Ultimately, the film's core structure revolves around women reclaiming ability to act against a corrupt, systemic hierarchy.
