AI Analysis
Against Their Will is a character-driven drama that finds its strength in the subversion of gendered power dynamics. It effectively challenges the perceived stability of institutional authority by framing the struggle for autonomy as a necessary rebellion. However, the film lacks significant breadth in other areas. The representation of LGBTQ+ identities and disability is minimal, and the racial diversity lacks the intersectional depth needed to elevate the score. Ultimately, the film's core architecture is built upon the reclamation of agency by women against a corrupt, systemic hierarchy.
