Against a colorful and psychedelic rural scenario in Argentine Mesopotamia, this film depicts the life and works of poet and reciter Edgar Estigarribia (1923-1989). A compulsive, self-taught creator, the "Poet of Guaran" recorded more than 200 glosses within some of the most popular Chamame albums. Due to his talent and charisma, the gloss (a musical theme's introductory poem) was definitely incorporated to Tarragosian Chamame, one of the richest, most danceable and joyful rhythms of Argentine folklore.

AI Analysis
The documentary serves as a vital cultural archive for Argentine Mesopotamia. By centering the life of Edgar Estigarribia, it elevates a self-taught, regional creator and validates folk-based intellectual agency. While the film lacks engagement with LGBTQ+ themes or gender-subversive narratives, it succeeds in disrupting Western-centric cinematic focuses. It prioritizes organic, community-based knowledge over institutionalized art. Ultimately, the film's strength lies in its dedication to documenting a specific, non-hegemonic cultural lineage, providing significant value to regional and ethnic heritage.
