AI Analysis

Craze is a traditional 1970s psychological horror film that prioritizes a singular descent into madness over social complexity. While it moves beyond purely Western theology by incorporating the deity Chuku, this inclusion feels more like a plot device for the antagonist's greed than a meaningful exploration of culture. The film adheres to established genre tropes, focusing on a male protagonist's pursuit of power. This narrow, character-driven focus limits the opportunity for intersectional representation or the disruption of social hierarchies.
