AI Analysis

Whispers is a conventional 1990s psychological thriller that prioritizes genre tropes over intersectional storytelling. While the film provides a degree of female empowerment through its protagonist's survivalist arc, it remains largely tethered to established cinematic traditions of its era. The narrative lacks visible racial diversity and queer representation, functioning instead as a focused, individualistic struggle. It offers a critique of systemic disbelief regarding authority, but fails to expand into broader cultural or identity-based subversion.
