New Showbiz Analysis

The film explores existential themes using science fiction to challenge traditional life trajectories. By focusing on a collective crisis, it emphasizes individual ability to act over societal norms. While it avoids traditional gender roles, it lacks explicit representation of LGBTQ+ identities. The cultural specificity of the Japanese setting provides a unique perspective, though multi-layered diversity is not addressed.
