AI Analysis
Things Change operates as a postmodern character study that prioritizes the deconstruction of social stability and identity. Its strength lies in its interrogation of moral relativism and the hypocrisy of professional structures. However, these themes are explored through a very narrow lens. The film's demographic composition is largely homogeneous, lacking intersectional depth. While it subverts some traditional masculine archetypes by portraying men in states of instability, it fails to provide meaningful representation for queer, racial, or female identities. Ultimately, the film's focus on a specific socioeconomic class limits its broader social relevance, making it a localized study rather than a diverse narrative.
