AI Analysis

Legends of the Fall is a traditional epic that prioritizes individualistic tragedy over systemic diversity. It leans heavily into classical Western storytelling tropes, focusing on the internal dynamics of a white settler family in Montana. The film's strength lies in its exploration of moral relativism and the tension between civilization and the untamed individual. However, it remains anchored in a patriarchal and heteronormative worldview. Ultimately, the narrative lacks racial and queer representation, functioning as a study of male-driven action and the breakdown of a specific patriarchal unit.
