The film functions as a study of institutional critique, pitting individual idealism against systemic rigidity. It finds its strength in the subversion of authority, particularly through its female protagonist and the collective ability to act of the students. While the narrative offers a progressive look at social dynamics and gendered power, it remains limited by a lack of visible representation for LGBTQ+ identities or disability. The ethnic diversity is implied by the Siberian setting but lacks specific character-driven confirmation. Ultimately, the film succeeds in deconstructing traditional hierarchies, framing established authority as an obstacle to be overcome rather than a model to be followed.
