New Showbiz Analysis

Original Intent is a mid-budget domestic drama that follows conventional storytelling clichés from the early 1990s. The film centers on a lawyer’s midlife crisis and the ethical dilemmas in his personal and professional life. The narrative structure emphasizes individual morality over systemic issues. It relies on a traditional social framework, focusing on a nuclear family and a homogeneous demographic that lacks diverse representation. Ultimately, the film operates as a typical character study. It does not aim to challenge established social hierarchies or provide meaningful representation for underrepresented groups.
