AI Analysis

Alicia Scherson’s *The Future* is a character-driven study of social fragmentation. By centering the story on orphans, the film disrupts the traditional domestic archetype and replaces the safety of the nuclear family with a landscape of moral ambiguity. The narrative deconstructs coming-of-age tropes through the lens of systemic displacement. Bianca and Tomas navigate the periphery of societal norms, using their personal struggles to explore identity through the experience of loss. While the film avoids conventional blockbuster structures, it succeeds in providing a platform for exploring autonomy and the decay of hyper-masculine ideals through characters facing profound social alienation.
