AI Analysis

The Doll Master functions as a traditional psychological horror film that prioritizes atmospheric tension over social or systemic critique. The narrative structure is built around a closed-room mystery, focusing on individual madness and supernatural elements rather than diverse perspectives. Representation is limited by the film's adherence to early 2000s genre conventions. It does not attempt to disrupt established hierarchies or provide a platform for marginalized identities, resulting in a homogeneous cast and character set. Ultimately, the film serves as a cultural reflection of its specific South Korean setting but lacks the intersectional complexity required to address broader social themes.
