One day, Zorori makes an alarm clock machine to wake up in time for free donuts. But something strange happens when Zorori reminisces about his mother and sheds a tear. They see scenes flash by and the ZZ mark on his costume disappears! Zorori treasures it incredibly as it was emboldened by his mother although he doesn't know its meaning. After crashlanding in the street, Zorori, Ishishi, and Noshishi are saved by a fashion design student whom Zorori later realizes is his mother. The alarm clock machine had become a time machine and sent them to the past. She and later Zorondo Ron, help the trio take back their time machine from the police and a kaijuu.

LGBTQ+ Representation
The film centers on a traditional familial bond between a mother and son. There is no evidence of non-cisnormative identities or same-sex romantic dynamics.
Gender Representation
A female fashion student serves as a vital catalyst for the plot and Zorori's identity. However, primary agency remains largely distributed among the male trio.
Racial & Ethnic Diversity
As an anthropomorphic fantasy, racial markers are replaced by species-based distinctions. The narrative does not use these species to explore intersectional or systemic struggles.

AI Analysis
Zorori the Naughty Hero: The Secret of Double Z is a character-driven adventure that uses a time-traveling mishap to explore the protagonist's emotional history. While the film avoids harmful stereotypes, it relies heavily on traditional storytelling tropes and conventional social structures. The narrative's strength lies in its emotional depth, specifically through the maternal connection that drives the plot. However, the film lacks significant intersectional representation, focusing instead on a standard adventure framework with a mostly male-led cast. Ultimately, the film functions as a personal journey of lineage rather than a tool for social or systemic critique, making it a safe but traditional piece of children's media.
