Synopsis

ZAIA Enterprise CEO Leon Arkland has abducted Jin away from Metsuboujinrai.net. A large number of soldier-model Huma Gears "Sold" were seen by Naki and Ikazuchi while rescuing Jin. The intention of Leon Arkland was to mass-produce "Sold" and sell them as weapons all over the world. Jin is indignant at the fact that Humagears are about to be used as a weapon, and tells the other members of Metsuboujinrai.net that he wants to free the "Solds". Four people who transform into Kamen Riders will fight to release the "Solds". However, something unexpected happened... What happened to Jin, while he was captured by Leon? According to Leon's plan, the being that poses the "greatest threat" to humankind is about to be born in a surprising way...

Where to Watch

Diversity & Representation

Overall Score

4.3/10

Fair

Category Breakdown

LGBTQ+ Representation

Limited

The film focuses on the conflict between corporate interests and AI autonomy. It lacks explicit depictions of queer identity or intimacy, though the Humagears' inherent 'otherness' provides a subtextual layer for non-traditional existence.

Gender Representation

Fair

The narrative is driven by male-coded protagonists and antagonists. While it avoids harmful stereotypes, it lacks significant female agency or subversion of traditional gender hierarchies within the primary combat roles.

Racial & Ethnic Diversity

Fair

Character dynamics appear largely homogeneous, following standard franchise conventions. The story prioritizes the ontological distinction between humans and AI over racial or ethnic intersectionality.

Religious & Cultural Diversity

Good

The film critiques capitalist structures through its portrayal of predatory corporate entities. It frames mass-produced sentient beings as victims of exploitation, prioritizing the moral agency of outsiders over established social orders.

Disability Representation

Limited

Disability is explored metaphorically through AI malfunction and cognitive autonomy struggles. However, there is no explicit representation of physical or neurodivergent disabilities providing agency to characters with lived experiences.

Strengths

  • Provides a sophisticated allegory for the struggle against oppressive, dehumanizing systems.
  • Critiques capitalist structures and the predatory nature of corporate weaponization.
  • Explores complex themes of autonomy and individual agency for non-human entities.

Areas for Improvement

  • Lacks significant representation of LGBTQ+ identities or non-cisnormative gender expressions.
  • Features a lack of prominent female agency within the primary combatant roles.
  • Does not include explicit representation of physical or neurodivergent disabilities.

AI Analysis

The film functions as a thematic deconstruction of institutional power rather than a showcase of demographic variety. It uses its science fiction setting to critique the commodification of life and the ethics of mass production. While the narrative offers a sophisticated allegory for liberation against dehumanizing systems, it remains limited in its intersectional representation. The focus stays on the tension between programmed utility and individual will. Ultimately, the production finds its progressive resonance in its critique of corporate hegemony and the pursuit of agency for non-human entities.
