AI Analysis

Lost Souls operates as a traditional supernatural thriller that prioritizes genre tropes over social subversion. The narrative centers on a metaphysical battle between faith and skepticism, utilizing established religious frameworks rather than progressive storytelling. While the film provides a female lead, her agency is largely tethered to the development of the male protagonist. This structural choice reinforces conventional thriller dynamics rather than challenging gender hierarchies. The production lacks evidence of diverse casting or intersectional themes, leaning instead toward the homogeneous character archetypes common in early-2000s horror cinema.
