Although awkward college student Todd Howard is particularly adept at science, he's paying for school with an athletic scholarship that he will lose should he not fare well in an upcoming boxing tournament. Luckily for Todd, he has inherited the same family curse that once turned his cousin into a werewolf. As he transforms into the hairy, fanged, howling monster, he finds both his physical agility and his popularity skyrocketing -- but at what cost?

Category Breakdown
LGBTQ+ Representation
The film follows a conventional heteronormative trajectory. The plot focuses on Todd Howard's interactions with a seductive hostess, reinforcing traditional romantic tropes without exploring non-cisnormative identities.
Gender Representation
Gender hierarchies remain traditional throughout the story. While Todd shows intellectual interests, the narrative is driven by male athletic dominance, leaving female characters in primarily decorative or supporting roles.
Racial & Ethnic Diversity
The film presents a largely homogeneous social environment. The focus on the Howard family lineage and the university setting lacks a deliberate effort toward racial blending or diverse ethnic perspectives.
Religious & Cultural Diversity
The story reinforces Western institutional values like athletic scholarships and collegiate hierarchies. It focuses on individual success within existing social structures rather than critiquing systemic norms.
Disability Representation
Lycanthropy is framed as a family affliction used for social popularity. The film uses the physical transformation as a comedic plot device rather than exploring nuanced agency or disability.

AI Analysis
Teen Wolf Too operates as a standard 1980s fantasy comedy that prioritizes genre escapism over social commentary. The narrative focuses on individualistic tropes, specifically the protagonist's journey from social awkwardness to physical dominance. The film reinforces existing social and athletic hierarchies. It lacks the intentionality needed to disrupt traditional norms, instead adhering to the conservative storytelling frameworks common in mainstream studio comedies of its era. Ultimately, the work functions as a character study of personal empowerment through a supernatural lens, rather than an exploration of intersectional or systemic diversity.
