20 years after his escape from Impel Down, the legendary pirate Shiki, the Golden Lion, reappears causing massive upheaval to the Marines. During his long seclusion, he was able to come up with a scheme to bring the World Government to his knees. On his way to execute the plan, Shiki crosses paths with the Straw Hat Pirates and becomes so impressed with Nami's knowledge of meteorology that he abducts her to forcedly enlist her into his crew. Luffy and the gang end up on a strange land populated with monstrous beasts as they desperately search for Shiki and Nami.

Category Breakdown
LGBTQ+ Representation
The film focuses on the protagonist's journey without featuring same-sex intimacy or non-cisnormative identities. While avoiding harmful stereotypes, it lacks proactive LGBTQ+ inclusion, remaining centered on traditional heteronormative archetypes.
Gender Representation
Nami and Nico Robin possess significant agency, with Nami's meteorological expertise driving the central conflict. This positions female characters as essential intellectual assets rather than mere emotional support, despite some conventional genre tropes.
Racial & Ethnic Diversity
The film uses non-human species, such as Fish-men, as sophisticated proxies for racial and ethnic diversity. This multi-ethnic landscape challenges homogeneous social structures and disrupts Western-centric notions of normative biology.
Religious & Cultural Diversity
The narrative critiques centralized authority by framing pirates as seekers of liberty against the World Government. It prioritizes personal autonomy and situational ethics over the rigid, monolithic morality of state-sanctioned law.
Disability Representation
Supernatural 'Devil Fruit' abilities function as combat mechanics rather than explorations of lived disability. The film lacks a dedicated focus on neurodivergence or physical disability as a core component of character agency.

AI Analysis
One Piece Film: Strong World utilizes its fantasy setting to explore complex themes of systemic resistance and biological diversity. By using diverse species as metaphors for ethnic existence, the film creates a rich, multi-faceted social landscape that challenges centralized power structures. However, the film remains constrained by traditional shonen genre conventions. While female characters are granted intellectual agency, the narrative lacks meaningful representation for LGBTQ+ identities and does not engage with disability as a lived experience beyond combat utility.
