AI Analysis

I've Been Waiting for You is a genre-driven supernatural thriller that relies on the 'outsider' trope. While it offers a moderate critique of communal prejudice and historical superstition, it lacks intersectional depth. The film functions primarily as a suspense piece rather than a vehicle for social commentary. It adheres to the standard narrative structures of late-90s television, focusing on a marginalized individual versus a collective authority. Ultimately, the work lacks intentional demographic disruption. It uses historical trauma as a plot device for horror rather than exploring a wide range of diverse identities or perspectives.
