AI Analysis

The Gallows operates strictly within the confines of traditional horror tropes, prioritizing atmospheric tension and supernatural retribution over social complexity. The narrative architecture relies on a homogeneous cast and conventional character archetypes that do not challenge established social hierarchies. Because the film focuses on a small-town urban legend, it remains within a narrow social baseline. It lacks the intentionality required to engage with contemporary discourses regarding identity, systemic power, or intersectional representation.
