New Showbiz Analysis

Paco stands out for its time by centering a South American orphan, offering a non-Western perspective. This contrasts with the typical focus on Western characters in 1970s crime films. However, the film remains predominantly male-focused, limiting the range of gender representation. Overall, while the film includes ethnic diversity, it adheres to conventional crime film clichés and lacks deeper social commentary.
