A story of a man threatened by a fatal illness evaluating his life (the number 322 in the film title stands for the diagnosis of one kind of cancer). He understands his illness as a form of punishment for his cruel deeds in the 1950s. In the face of reality and his efforts to cleanse himself he hits a barrier of indifference, lack of interest, and individual and collective selfishness. He has to find his own reconciliation with his illness and his past and present life.

Category Breakdown
LGBTQ+ Representation
The film lacks LGBTQ+ characters or narratives addressing non-cisnormative identities. The story focuses exclusively on the protagonist's personal moral reckoning and physical decline.
Gender Representation
The narrative centers on a male protagonist. While it critiques social selfishness, it offers no specific evidence of subverting traditional gender hierarchies or non-traditional masculinity.
Racial & Ethnic Diversity
Reflecting the demographic homogeneity of 1970s Czechoslovakia, the film lacks a multi-ethnic cast. It functions as a localized study of the human condition rather than a diverse sociological survey.
Religious & Cultural Diversity
The film uses progressive narrative architecture to explore subjective morality. It critiques social institutions by portraying the surrounding collective as a barrier of indifference and selfishness.
Disability Representation
The story provides meaningful representation of terminal illness. The '322' diagnosis drives the protagonist's psychological evolution without resorting to pity or inspiration porn.

AI Analysis
322 is a somber, character-driven drama that prioritizes internal psychological truth over broad social representation. Its strength lies in its sophisticated treatment of terminal illness and its refusal to offer easy moral redemption. However, the film is limited by its historical and geographic context. The demographic focus is narrow, reflecting the homogeneity of its era and setting, which results in low scores for racial and LGBTQ+ diversity. Ultimately, the film succeeds as a deep existential study. It uses a medical crisis to deconstruct social indifference, making it a powerful, if localized, exploration of the human spirit.
