AI Analysis

Tom Holland's Twisted Tales functions as a traditional horror anthology, prioritizing visceral scares and supernatural tension over social commentary. The nine segments rely heavily on established genre tropes, such as vampires, witches, and demonic possession, to drive the narrative. Because the film is structured as a collection of vignettes, representation is fragmented. The stories focus on macabre elements like technological hauntings and substance-induced visions rather than challenging social hierarchies or exploring intersectional identities. Ultimately, the work maintains a conventional approach to the horror genre, leaning into morality plays and classic tropes rather than providing a platform for diverse or systemic perspectives.
