Pin is a psychological thriller that emphasizes individual experiences over broader social representations. It adheres closely to the demographic and narrative styles prevalent in the late 1980s. The film excels in its intricate portrayal of a character with a significant physical anomaly, offering a compelling exploration of both physical and psychological differences. However, it falls short in challenging broader social hierarchies and maintaining a homogeneous cast.
