AI Analysis

The Amityville Haunting operates as a conventional genre piece that adheres to established horror tropes. It relies on the tension of a nuclear family facing supernatural threats rather than exploring diverse social identities. The production follows standard low-budget found-footage conventions. It lacks the intentionality required to disrupt traditional social hierarchies or domestic norms, focusing instead on a homogeneous narrative structure. Ultimately, the film maintains a traditional framework that avoids intersectional storytelling or the subversion of identity politics.
