New Showbiz Analysis

Intruder is a psychological thriller that prioritizes the deconstruction of the traditional family unit over demographic diversity. It challenges the 'ideal family' archetype by portraying the domestic sphere as unstable and suspicious. However, the film operates within a narrow demographic scope, featuring a culturally homogeneous cast and lacking diverse identities. The film's strength lies in its cultural critique of social norms and family structures. However, it falls short in representing diverse identities, including LGBTQ+ characters and individuals with disabilities.
