Help Gone Mad is a social realist critique of urban alienation. It succeeds in deconstructing institutional power and portraying the individual crushed by systemic indifference. The film's strength lies in its exploration of how bureaucracy and economic instability can erase a person's social standing. However, the film lacks depth in exploring LGBTQ+ and gender issues. It prioritizes class-based struggles over identity-based exploration, leaving gaps in its representation. Ultimately, the film offers a poignant look at the fragility of social standing in a hyper-capitalist environment, even if it remains narrow in its demographic scope.
Category Breakdown

The film critiques modern capitalist structures and urban bureaucracy. It portrays Moscow as a hostile entity that strips individuals of dignity through economic instability.
No specific clinical disabilities are mentioned. However, the protagonist's homelessness and lack of documentation function as a form of systemic social disability.
