Isabelle, approaching middle age with two children, discovers she's pregnant, goes into a funk, and arranges for a younger woman to seduce her husband. Adeline is distraught at her ex-lover's plan to leave France. The three women are colleagues at a radiology clinic. They come to each other's aid, but each must decide on her own what course to take: Cécile with Gilquin, Isabelle with her husband, and Adeline with her solitude.

AI Analysis
Femmes de personne is a character-driven study that prioritizes female-centric social networks and psychological complexity. By centering the narrative on three women navigating their own romantic and social destinies, the film disrupts conventional tropes of passive femininity. However, the work lacks significant intersectional depth. The focus remains largely on a homogeneous social group, and the narrative architecture is built around heteronormative structures and the disruption of traditional marital bonds rather than queer or diverse identities. Ultimately, the film achieves a moderate score by subverting patriarchal domestic hierarchies through its emphasis on individual autonomy and situational ethics.
