New Showbiz Analysis

Black Moon is a surrealist exploration that prioritizes atmosphere and archetype over social commentary. While it lacks broad demographic representation, it actively deconstructs traditional power dynamics. The film subverts gender roles by showing male characters in domestic roles, but it remains limited by a predominantly European cast and a lack of LGBTQ+ or neurodivergent representation. Ultimately, it functions as a psychological study, rejecting traditional Western institutional values through a dream-like framework.
