Falling in Love Again functions as a conventional domestic drama that adheres strictly to mid-20th-century social norms. The narrative architecture prioritizes the stability of the nuclear family and traditional romantic structures over identity-based storytelling. The film lacks significant disruption to established social hierarchies. It focuses on a standard cross-country trip and the rekindling of a conventional bond, offering little room for diverse perspectives. Ultimately, the work reflects the era's tendency to depict white, middle-class domesticity as the narrative standard, providing minimal representation for underrepresented groups.
