New Showbiz Analysis

Achero Mañas presents a gritty social realism film that delves into the psychological complexities of underrepresented youth. The film excels by breaking down class and gender power structures, avoiding simplistic moral solutions for its characters. Its strength lies in framing personal struggles within a larger systemic context. However, the film's scope is somewhat limited by its narrow focus on socioeconomic status, lacking significant racial or ethnic diversity.
