Moby Dick is a political thriller that prioritizes systemic critique over demographic variety. While the cast is culturally uniform, the film finds strength in its thematic subversion of state-sanctioned narratives. The production excels in its portrayal of female characters as intellectually capable and professional peers. However, it lacks representation regarding LGBTQ+ identities and disability, maintaining a traditional demographic profile. Ultimately, the film's diversity is found in its intellectual framework rather than its casting, using a localized setting to explore universal themes of corruption and truth.
