New Showbiz Analysis

Home succeeds by focusing on a Black female protagonist who play a significant role in driving the story and resourcefulness. It uses the Boov to explore themes of displacement and the outsider experience, providing a sophisticated critique of colonialist expansionism. However, the film lacks representation of LGBTQ+ identities and does not feature characters with specific disabilities. The Boov's behaviors are presented as species-wide traits rather than nuanced depictions of neurodiversity.
