New Showbiz Analysis

Darkman explores the psychological unraveling of its protagonist. It focuses on the male lead's descent into madness rather than diverse experiences. The film stands out in its cultural critique of moral relativism. It questions traditional institutions by framing vigilante justice as a response to systemic failures and personal trauma. However, the narrative lacks broad demographic representation. It centers on a white, male-dominated story with traditional gender roles and minimal LGBTQ+ representation.
