In this feature-length film combining footage from classic Warner Brothers cartoon shorts with newly animated bridging sequences, Daffy Duck, after having induced laughter in an ailing millionaire and forestalled the millionaire's death for a time (as chronicled in Daffy Dilly (1948), is the beneficiary for the deceased millionaire's assets. But the millionaire's will clearly stipulates that Daffy must use the money for the common good, by providing a service, and should Daffy think of pursuing selfish aims, the millionaire's ghost will "repossess" his millions by making them disappear from Earthly existence. Under the pretense of community service, Daffy opens an exorcism agency and employs Porky Pig, Sylvester Cat, and Bugs Bunny to track and eliminate ghosts, ghouls, and other monsters, while Daffy secretly schemes to use his learned "ghost-busting" talents to rid himself of the millionaire's nagging spirit.

Category Breakdown
LGBTQ+ Representation
The film features entirely anthropomorphic animal archetypes. There are no depictions of non-cisnormative gender identities or same-sex intimacy within the narrative.
Gender Representation
Character agency is heavily skewed toward a male-coded cast including Daffy, Bugs, Porky, and Sylvester. The absence of female characters prevents any subversion of gender hierarchies.
Racial & Ethnic Diversity
The cast is homogeneous within its species-based framework. The film lacks human racial or ethnic descriptors, existing instead in a vacuum of cartoon abstraction.
Religious & Cultural Diversity
The supernatural elements are treated through a lens of slapstick rather than spiritual reverence. The plot utilizes standard tropes like wills and wealth for comedic effect.
Disability Representation
There is no representation of physical or neurodivergent disabilities. Physical mishaps are presented as standard slapstick violence rather than meaningful depictions of disability.

AI Analysis
Daffy Duck's Quackbusters functions as a preservation of mid-century animation legacy rather than a vehicle for modern social commentary. The film relies on established comedic archetypes that prioritize slapstick continuity over intersectional narrative construction. The cast is dominated by male-coded characters, leaving little room for gendered power dynamics or diverse representation. Because the characters are anthropomorphic animals, the film avoids human racial, ethnic, or identity-based descriptors entirely. Ultimately, the work operates within a traditionalist framework. It celebrates classic cartoon tropes without engaging in the deconstruction of social norms or the inclusion of diverse identities.
