LGBTQ+ Representation
The film lacks explicit evidence of queer identities or non-cisnormative characters. The narrative focuses on medical thriller elements rather than addressing heteronormativity.
Gender Representation
Dr. Susan Verger provides a degree of gender parity as a central protagonist. Her professional agency helps disrupt a potentially male-centric hierarchy within the story.
Racial & Ethnic Diversity
The casting appears to follow a traditional, likely homogeneous approach. There is no indication of a multicultural framework or characters of color with high agency.
Religious & Cultural Diversity
The story critiques institutional corruption through the deceptive Straun Foundation. However, it is unclear if this extends to broader social or religious critiques.

AI Analysis
Dr. Rage operates within the conventional boundaries of independent horror. While it avoids a purely male-centric perspective by featuring a female lead with professional agency, the film lacks significant intersectional depth. The narrative relies heavily on genre tropes rather than systemic subversion. The film's primary strength lies in its inclusion of a female protagonist who actively challenges the antagonist. However, the lack of diverse casting and the potential stigmatization of mental health through the central disorder limit its social impact. Ultimately, the production follows established genre trajectories. It provides a moderate level of representation through gender parity but fails to engage with broader racial, cultural, or LGBTQ+ narratives.
