If Adam is not very excited about this trip, Anna is excited to discover the land that is also her grandmother's. Finally - from what little she knows. Here they are, looking for their origins in a journey full of surprises, during which they will not find exactly what they came for.

AI Analysis
My Polish Honeymoon moves beyond the typical travelogue to explore the heavy intersection of personal heritage and historical trauma. By centering on the Polish-Jewish diaspora, the film provides a sophisticated look at how identity is shaped by ancestral loss. The narrative succeeds in its refusal to offer a celebratory or simplistic view of history. Instead, it uses the journey to deconstruct the concept of home and the complexities of dual identity within a European context. While the film lacks queer or disability representation, its strength lies in its deep, intersectional approach to ethnic and cultural memory.
