AI Analysis
Perfect Mismatch is a character study of cultural intersectionality within the Indian diaspora. It succeeds by moving beyond a monolithic portrayal of ethnicity, instead highlighting the specific lifestyle differences between Punjabi and Gujarati families. However, the film remains anchored in conservative social structures. The central conflict is resolved through the protagonists' adherence to familial expectations, which prioritizes traditional domestic hierarchies over the deconstruction of systemic norms. Ultimately, the film offers a nuanced look at intra-ethnic diversity while maintaining a conventional approach to romance and gender roles.
