Napoleon has been exiled to Elba, the English have returned from the wars, and Major Richard Sharpe finds himself in a sort of exile to lead a company of Yorkshire Yeomen. His duties include protecting mill owners from restless workers who are on the verge of strike or outright revolt. Meanwhile, Sharpe's faithless wife and her lover fall within range of Sharpe's wrath. Sharpe, with his two of his devoted Chosen Men nearby, must decide whether to continue to protect the mill owners or to take the side of their fiercely downtrodden workers.

AI Analysis
Sharpe's Justice is a period piece that prioritizes historical realism over modern social inclusivity. The film operates within the rigid hierarchies of the early 19th century, focusing on military duty and class friction. The narrative centers on the male experience, with women and diverse ethnic groups largely sidelined or absent. While the plot touches on class struggle and worker revolts, it ultimately reinforces the existing imperial and military structures. Because the film adheres so closely to the social norms of its setting, it lacks the progressive subversion required for a higher diversity score.
