AI Analysis

De patitas a la calle is a regional adventure that uses animal characters to explore themes of loss and systemic exploitation. By centering a female protagonist in a Peruvian urban setting, the film moves away from traditional Western adventure tropes. While the film succeeds in providing a localized, non-Western spatial perspective, it lacks depth regarding human intersectional identities. The narrative focus remains strictly on animal agency and familial bonds. Ultimately, the film serves as a meaningful piece of Latin American genre cinema, though it remains neutral on many specific social identity markers.
