The narrative structure prioritizes a classic struggle between honesty and greed, reinforcing standard social hierarchies of the era. The film lacks intersectional complexity, adhering to the conventional storytelling patterns of the studio system. It focuses on a millionaire's legacy, which aligns with established Western capitalist values rather than challenging them.
