The whole clique of Cruchot's police station is retired. Now he lives with his rich wife in her castle - and is bored almost to death. He fights with the butler, because he isn't even allowed to do the simple works. But when one of the clique suffers from amnesia after an accident, all of the others reunite and kidnap him, to take him on a tour to their old working places and through their memories. In their old uniforms they turn St. Tropez upside down.

Gender Representation
The narrative is driven almost exclusively by a male ensemble. Female characters, such as the protagonist's wife, occupy secondary roles without significant plot agency.

Casting is predominantly homogeneous, reflecting a specific 1970s French village setting. The film presents a largely Western European social norm without diverse ethnic perspectives.
Religious & Cultural Diversity
The story adheres to conventional social mores and traditional institutions. It offers a lighthearted critique of bureaucracy rather than a systemic critique of social structures.
Disability Representation
Amnesia serves as a central plot device to reunite the ensemble. However, this condition is used as a comedic catalyst rather than a nuanced exploration of disability.

AI Analysis
The film is a traditional period comedy that prioritizes slapstick and ensemble humor within a very homogeneous framework. It reflects the demographic conventions of its era, focusing on a male-dominated police force. Representation is minimal across most categories. The narrative relies on established social hierarchies and lacks engagement with intersectional identities or the subversion of traditional norms. While the film provides comedic relief through its portrayal of incompetent authority, it does not attempt to challenge or expand upon the social or cultural perspectives of its time.
