AI Analysis
Miracle at Midnight succeeds by shifting the focus from victimhood to active resistance. By centering the story on the agency of Jewish Danes, the film provides a nuanced portrayal of a persecuted minority navigating systemic oppression. However, the film lacks modern intersectional markers. There is no representation for LGBTQ+ identities or neurodivergent characters, which limits the scope of its social commentary. While the narrative disrupts some gender hierarchies through the domestic resistance of women, the central plot remains driven by the Koster men.
